chair

Carmen Reinisch was the Chair of the 2020-2021 Board. She graduated in 2022 from PPLE with a major in Economics and Business major. Growing up as a triplet and having six siblings enabled her to understand multiple opinions and perspectives. This strength really helps her in her role as chair as it makes her open-minded yet assertive enough to keep everything rolling in the right direction. This was Carmen’s second year as a member of the TDP board.

secretary

The 2021-2022 secretary was Farah Qureshi! Farah is a Dutch third-year politics major at PPLE. She likes theatre, traveling and meeting new people. If you meet her, don’t hesitate to share your ideas for TDP with her.

co-head of initiatives

Heli Song is a third-year PPLE student majoring in Economics and business. She was co-head of initiatives together with Hugo during last school year. Apart from having organized innovative workshops and events that help students while they pursue the PPLE career, her other main role was to help students organize their own events. This is important because students could develop related skills, such as communication, time management, and organizational skills.

co-head of initiatives

Hugo Kapteijn is a theard-year PPLE student majoring in Law. As co-head of initiatives he aimed to make the most out of the TDP’s influence. He believes that with a strong TDP presence, students can expand their horizons and become the best version of themselves. To that end, he organized useful TDP-led events, in addition to inspiring student initiatives. He did this together with his Co-head Heli. With an eye for detail and a passion for learning, he’ll do his best to add valuable experiences to the PPLE roster.

Her IB art background combined with the PR work she has done have given her the experience needed to creatively contribute to TDP. Last year, she looked forward to sharing with you all the fun and educational workshops organised by TDP so PPLE students can grow their skills together, and she will continue to do this as the head of PR this year.
