Tutor Showcase: Dr. Cenkhan Sahin

Advances in macroprudential policy and financial stability

Cenkhan Sahin is a lecturer and research fellow at the University of Amsterdam. His fields of interests are Macroeconomics and Monetary Economics; Banking and Finance; Public Finance, and Monetary Policy. He has previously worked as an economist at the Dutch Central Bank, the Sveriges Riksbank, and the European Central Bank and has published several (co-authored) studies. His presentation will consider the impending build up of risks in our financial system, the recent advances in macroprudential regulation, and his own research on these topics.

Cenkhan teaches Economics of Money and Banking at PPLE and is a thesis supervisor.
