Student Assistant Opportunity: Shape the Future with 'What You Don't Learn in School'
As a Student Assistant, you will be working closely with the programme coordinator, Jennifer Reinhard, on the development, administration, and evaluation of the ‘What You Don’t Learn in School’ programme. This programme includes a series of workshops for first- and second-year PPLE students that aims to equip students with essential life skills and knowledge that are not covered in the formal curriculum, like finding balance, emotional intelligence, creativity, resilience, and many more.
We are looking for a student with great communication and collaboration skills, who will actively reach out to the student community at PPLE and collaborate with the course coordinator. In this collaboration, you will effectively manage the quality of education for the WYDLIS programme. You should have data analysis skills, and experience working in Qualtrics on devising and analysing survey output.
The role includes:
Representing the student voice in the development of the WYDLIS programme
Reaching out to fellow students for feedback on the course of the programme
Communicating with students about the relevant aspects of the course
Facilitating student feedback towards the administration and the course coordinator
Creating and administering evaluation surveys
Analysing the course evaluations and devising evaluation reports with course feedback
Exploring the possibilities for further development of the WYDLIS course
It is a plus if you are interested in personal development and want to represent the voice of PPLE students. As a result, you will contribute towards running a large scale programme that actively contributes to your own development as well as that of your peers.
Should you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact the program coordinator, Jennifer Reinhard via j.j.reinhard@uva.nl
