Movies that Matter broadens the perspective on human rights by screening films and encouraging screenings of films on pressing social issues. We do this by organizing the annual Movies that Matter Festival, educational screenings for students and schoolchildren, organizing events, with advisory work at home and abroad, and supporting festivals abroad.
We are looking for an enthusiastic intern/volunteer Marketing & Communications (24 hours per week) starting September 1.
The Marketing & Communications team is an important link between the various teams. You will help with the daily support, leading up to and during the Movies that Matter Festival (March 22-30, 2024 in The Hague).
What will you do?
You will devise and coordinate promotional campaigns aimed at (potential) audiences;
You will approach specific target groups and set up collaborations;
You will support the maintenance of the website, database and social media;
You will work on content creation: perhaps you will think up a new podcast format, reels concept or interview series for our online magazine;
You will help set up and roll out audience research;
General marketing and communications support.
